Template functionality for quotes and orders

CATAMA's template functionality allows you to save frequently used documents (quotes, orders, warranty orders, internal orders) as templates and create new documents from them. This saves time on recurring business transactions.

Create a template

Create a template from an existing document:

1. Open an existing document (quote, order, etc.)
2. Click on the save menu.
3. Select “Save as template”
4. Enter a meaningful name for the template
5. Confirm with OK

Note: The document type is retained (e.g., workshop order → workshop order template, internal order → internal order template)

You can use templates to create new jobs, manage them, and of course, delete them.

Notes

• ✓ Templates are branch-specific – each branch has its own templates
• ✓ Templates contain all positions and settings of the original document

• Standard configurations for certain vehicle types
• Frequently sold item combinations
