Welcome to the release notes for version 26.13! The focus of this version is on stabilizing and fine-tuning the new design, new payment overviews in the cash book, touch support for tablets, and the option to switch back to the classic design if needed.

Payment transaction reporting in the cash book
The cash book has been renamed "Cash and Transactions" and expanded to include new reporting for payment transactions. Payment histories are clearly displayed in separate tabs and can be analyzed in detail.

Numerous CSS corrections and fine-tuning adjustments for the new design were made across all areas of the application. Floating elements, menus, quick search, and various display errors were corrected.

Technical notes
Database migrations
A migration was added for design switching per user, which creates the field use_modern_shell in the user table.
Legacy Design Option
If the new design doesn't work optimally in certain scenarios, users can switch back to the classic design. This switch is made in the user management settings, but is no longer supported.
Tablet support
With the new touch support, the jQuery UI Touch Punch library has been integrated to enable drag & drop on touchscreens.
