Is there a contract term?
No. You enter into an open-ended service agreement that you can cancel at any time with 10 days’ notice to the end of the month – no lock-in contract, no minimum term.
What does CATAMA cost?
CATAMA starts at EUR 99/month. The Professional, Enterprise and Unlimited packages are available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Details under Products & pricing.
What does pay-as-you-go mean?
You only pay for the months and the number of users that actually use the system. You can create additional users as needed and deactivate them again when they are no longer required.
Can I try CATAMA for free?
Yes. You can try CATAMA free of charge for 5 days with no obligation. Register for free now.
Does CATAMA run without installation?
Yes. CATAMA is cloud-based and runs directly in the web browser – on PC, laptop, Mac and tablet, with no installation work at all.
How and where is my data stored?
All data is transmitted in encrypted form and stored in an ISO-certified data centre in Germany (Nuremberg). Daily backups protect against data loss.
Is CATAMA GoBD-compliant?
Yes. Invoicing and document archiving are designed for GoBD requirements – including traceable document chains and DATEV export.
Does CATAMA support e-invoicing (ZUGFeRD/XRechnung)?
Yes. CATAMA supports e-invoicing in ZUGFeRD and XRechnung formats for legally compliant invoicing to business partners and public clients.
Is there a DATEV interface?

Which integrations does CATAMA offer?
CATAMA bindet Teilekataloge, DAT SilverDAT, mobile.de, Shop-Systeme und den DATEV-Export an und stellt zusaetzlich eine offene REST-API sowie MCP bereit.
Does CATAMA offer a TSE cash register?
Yes. With the TSE cash register you create signed cash receipts and review cashbook entries. The TSE certificate is charged separately. For Austria, RKSV notes apply.
Which industries is CATAMA suitable for?
For automotive workshops and vehicle dealerships as well as tyres, caravan, motorcycle, commercial vehicles, classic cars, agricultural machinery, quad/ATV and other service businesses.
Why are there setup fees?
Setup fees are charged once. We configure the system precisely for you: staff accounts, business data and document templates for invoices and quotes.
Do you handle data migration?
Yes. With our data migration service we can transfer customer, supplier and article data from your previous solution on request.
Can I add additional users at any time?
Yes. Billing is per user and month. Accounts that are no longer needed can be deactivated at any time.

What is the difference between CATAMA and CATMA?
CATAMA is the automotive software (DMS) from 404MEDIA. CATMA is an independent text annotation tool and has nothing to do with CATAMA automotive software.
Which countries is CATAMA suitable for?
For Germany, Austria and Switzerland – including country-specific notes on VAT, UID, RKSV and QR invoices.
