What is an intra-Community supply?
An intra-Community supply is a cross-border supply within the EU.
More specifically, intra-Community supplies refer to supplies in which a business within the EU (but not to private individuals) supplies goods and/or services to another business—in another EU country—and issues an invoice accordingly.
Both parties—for example, the issuer and the recipient of the invoice—must have a valid VAT identification number.
